I've seen the pix of Chris's clock on the link from KC's last posting. The fact that there is a letter N on the face leads me to agree with Paul that this type of clock was used on the instrument clusters of the pre-war Jowetts (and probably other pre-war cars). Certainly 'Mary Ellen' my 1934 Short Saloon has this type of clock on the panel. They seem to go for about 12 to 15 at Beaulieu if they are working ok but need other restoration.
