I've seen the pix of Chris's clock on the link from KC's last posting. The fact that there is a letter N on the face leads me to agree with Paul that this type of clock was used on the instrument clusters of the pre-war Jowetts (and probably other pre-war cars). Certainly 'Mary Ellen' my 1934 Short Saloon has this type of clock on the panel. They seem to go for about £12 to £15 at Beaulieu if they are working ok but need other restoration.
