Ken:- I have not been ignoring your reply! To be honest I had only just noticed that apart from your kind comments there was potential for a reply! The short(sorry about the pun) answer is that I don't really know, but it seems likely. The car hads various features that the literature lists as either 1929 (e.g 6 volt electrics, artillery wheels) or 1930 (e.g. ball change gearbox, detachable cylinder heads). What I DO know is that the engine is original (same number as the chassis)and that the whole car is in a dreadful state (but I have driven it - about 6ft - several years ago). If you want to volunteer for some detective work I would be only too pleased to give you details of all key features. My thoughts have always been that, being built in 1930 (Chassis number starts 02----), it might be one of the vehicles that were put together after the factory fire, out of various usable parts that survived. For that reason (I tell myself) I have not started restoration until last summer (I bought it in 1966). Hope to hear from you again soon. Regards Ian Howell
