On the 17th August my Grandma, Elsie Koch-Osborne “Chelse” turned the grand old age of 90! On Friday 19th we enjoyed a lovely family meal which ended with great humour and for those of you who don’t know the story let’s just say it was a Kathleen and Michael moment! On Saturday the 20th August we held an “open house” party for her and many Northern Section members attended. On behalf of my Grandma and my family I would like to thank everyone who was able to attend and celebrate with us and those who sent cards and gifts. We were very touched by the wonderful warmth and generosity shown, despite saying no presents on the invitations, Chelse was showered with gifts and cards including the wonderful cake, in the photo below, hand crafted by Bob Gray himself! – Well that’s what he told me! Chelse had the most enjoyable time and although she was very tired by the end, it was thoroughly worth it so thank you so much for making her 90th such a special occasion and she hopes to see you all in 10 years time!
