Just one comment on Robin's problem. His Javelin has hydromechanical brakes as did my first LHD Javelin. I now have a fully hydraulic LHD Javelin, and there is no issue regarding the orientation of the master cylinder on it. So the issue as outlined by Robin is just applicable to hydromechanical systems.
