Simply depends on the driver! I have been at 60mph in the ice and snow with John Blankley on the Monte. I cruise easily at the legal limit on the motorway. Of course the car is relatively heavy and the brakes not as efficient as a modern so you need to leave a bigger gap. If the heads have not been unleaded then it is a good idea to reduce revs down to a sedate 60mph for long distances. You should have no problem with road holding.
