The engine runs perfectly in the garage at tickover and when revs are increased without load. The problem only occurs under load.
I thought it might be a loose flywheel but shaking it, it appears tight, unless it loosens when hot. When you pull the flywheel back there is just a little free play. The enging has done 10,000 miles on the main bearings and some play is to be expected. Its not like a modern engine.
