We have had the "driveshafts" of the original tach drives reproduced. These are the two shafts which have slots and are joined by a pin.
The first one is the shaft on which the gear sits and has a slot and pin at the other end and the second is the slotted shaft with the key which turns the cable. Two were made and the program is now on CNC, making any additional units easier to do. Cost was about US$150 each. Comments or questions?
