I remember attending a JCC meeting, probably in Ealing back in the late '60's at which Gerald Palmer talked about designing and development of the Javelin. He mentioned a figure for torsional stiffness of the Javelin body/chassis. Does anyone know what that figure is/was? It would be interesting to compare it with the values which are achieved in modern cars.

Today, designers are also concerned with beam (bending) stiffness, and also natural resonent frequencies of the body, but I doubt they were considered or measured back in the late '40's.
