Paul, It's good to know that your dad included my article in the current Jowetteer -- it will probably be about a week before I get my copy. However, I must point out that the initiative to promote Jowett Talk was Tony Fearn's idea not mine! I just came up with the words. The report on your Jowetts, prompts me to mention my second longish trip taken in my Javelin. It was yesterday, and the round trip distance was 183 miles. I travelled over non-motorway roads, and my average speed was about 45 mph. I think that there's a good chance that this was the longest trip taken by a Javelin in Canada in many decades!
