Put the selector mechnaism back on the side of the box and filled with engine oil, 20 / 50. Ran for 3 miles and stuck in first agin! Noted the positions of the selector arms, through the floor opening, but could not get out of first. BUT could try to select another gear! Took side off box. Think that the selector had moved into fisrt and then dropped vertiallty down into the 3rd / 4th position. Have hard welded metal to this rod, on the third gear side, in an attempt to stop the first selector moving from the fisrt position. Not re-built box yet.
